Training
Horse training services include groundwork and starting
horses under saddle. We specialize in Cutting/Cowhorses
and Barrel Horses. However, we also train for
Performance & Reining. Our training program places
emphasis on basic horsemanship skills and training
people to train their horses. We have several students who
have taken our program to the extent of having the ability to
ride their horse bridleless. When your horse is in training,
you are welcome to come work your horse and learn how
he/she operates.
Lessons
We offer lessons for beginners to accomplished showmen.
Beginners are always welcome! Lessons are 1 hour with
your horse or ours. Based on where your interests lie, we
offer our lessons in Performance, Reining, Cutting, or
Speed Events.
Boarding
Boarding rates vary and we offer Full or Partial Boarding.
In addition to boarding your horse, you have use of our
indoor and outdoor arenas. Boarding stalls are limited.

Sales
From time to time, we have horses for sale for our clients.
We are not horse traders. We are very familiar with any
horse that we advertise and you can be assured that all
information regarding a horse is disclosed. In the past, we
have used a few transporters that we would recommend
should you need those services.
Special Events
Throughout the year, Flyin' ~S~ Ranch hosts many events
including practice cuts, cowhorse clinics, and barrel clinics.
Our indoor arena is open for riding during the winter
months by appointment only.
Trailer Repair/Welding Shop
In addition to many equine related services, Flyin' ~S~
Ranch offers steel and aluminum trailer repair, wiring, and
brake control unit installation.
We are also an authorized dealer for B & W Hitches. The
welding shop offers services for all kinds of farm
equipment, big or small.

equine facility, a 60' x 175' indoor arena, a 100' x
200' outdoor arena, and access to 5 acres of
wooded trails.

"No BS Policy"
At Flyin' ~S~ Ranch, we have a "No BS Policy" on training
and lessons.
We do not play horse games with sticks, balls, pool noodles,
ropes, and strings.
We will not teach you and your horse to stand in the middle of
the arena while you crack a bullwhip standing in the saddle.
You will learn to really ride and fully control your horse--not just
be a passenger. Lessons are more in-depth than just 'sit up
straight and keep your heels down.'
Training for your horse is in real life situations and does not
involve pushing a ball around or jumping over logs on a
leadrope. Your horse will be exposed to everyday real life
situations with confidence instilled in every step.
